All Newark DPW services, including bulk collection (Zone B) and street sweeping, will be SUSPENDED on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, in observance of Lincoln’s Birthday. All DPW service centers will be closed.

On holidays, all services are suspended unless explicitly noted otherwise by the City of Newark Department of Public Works. Updates will be made available on our live calendar at dpw.newarknj.gov/calendar/, and on our official Instagram page (@newarkpublicworks) and Facebook page (@City of Newark Department of Public Works).

Regularly scheduled services will resume on Thursday, February 13, 2025.
