Trash & Bulk Collection

The City of Newark collects 1,369 tons of trash and bulk items every week. Our mission is to maintain the City’s health, safety, and cleanliness through routine, organized, and timely curbside collections and vacant lot patrols. We provide the necessary services to prevent soil, water, and air contamination, reduce risk of illness, and prevent rodents and other pests. We are accountable to Newark’s residents, businesses, and visitors, and we aim to do so by keeping Newark clean.
