July 4, 2025 – All Newark DPW services, including trash collections, recycling collections, and citywide street sweeping are SUSPENDED on Friday, July 4, 2025 in observance of Independence Day.

All DPW Service Centers will be closed.

Regular collections and services will resume on Monday, July 7.
