All Newark DPW Services, including collections and street sweeping, will be SUSPENDED Monday, January 20, 2025, in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s Birthday. All DPW service centers will be closed.

On holidays, all DPW city cleanliness services are suspended unless explicitly noted otherwise by the City of Newark Department of Public Works. Updates will be made available on our live calendar at dpw.newarknj.gov/calendar/, and on our official Instagram page (@newarkpublicworks) and Facebook page (@City of Newark Department of Public Works).

Regularly scheduled services will resume on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
