June 19, 2025 – All Newark DPW services, including trash collections, recycling collections, and citywide street sweeping are SUSPENDED on Thursday, June 19, 2025 in observance of Juneteenth.

All Newark DPW Service Centers will be closed.

Regular collections and services will resume on Friday, June 20th.
