Zone A trash collections will be SUSPENDED on Monday, May 26, as Newark DPW will be closed in observance of Memorial Day. Residents in Zone A should NOT put out their recyclables on Sunday night as usual.

Citywide street sweeping is also suspended.

However, Zone B paper recycling collections will REMAIN IN EFFECT. Residents in Zone B should put out their recyclables on the curb by 6 PM on Monday night, as usual.
